Good things coming your way

This original artwork is a piece that i was so excited to create. I would dance in the studio while painting it and i had a lot of fun and freedom while creating the many layers on it. I had no plan with this one and one day while i was painting away to my own pace in the studio a flow started to emerge and i created a piece of work that i absolutely love and adore to the point where I’m sad to lose her. I was listening to Chelsea Cutlers song ‘ calling all angels’ and there was one line that jumped out at me “ good things coming your way’ so i wrote it on the side of the frame in pencil and i knew that’s what it was to be called. It was created at a time in Australia where it didn’t feel so positive so i think in some ways its a reminder that there are still good things coming your way and there’s still hope. I hope this work sings on your walls of brighter days ahead.
